Life can be seen as a dance of perfection and imperfection, whether in our own personal experiences or larger social realities.  How do we hold both with compassion and wisdom?  What does the paradox of permanence and impermanence have to teach us? This talk explores the attention and energy that helps us be present to it all. (30 min)

Claudia founded and led stone circles (www.stonecircles.org) for 17 years; in 2007 she and others created The Stone House, one of the country's first centers to integrate spiritual practice and social justice, on 70 acres of land in North Carolina.  In two weeks she starts her next adventure as Interim Executive Director of the Rothko Chapel (www.rothkochapel.org) in Houston, TX.  Her first Open Dharma retreat was in 2005 in Rishikesh and she has been deeply resting ever since.
