External Circumcision and Internal Circumcision.

We will discuss Jeremiah 9:23-26 and Romans 2:23-31.  God said that he would punish all, the circumcised, as well as the uncircumcised, because of their transgressions to his laws and commandments.  The Jews felt confident that they would be saved because of their external circumcision, but God requires an internal circumcision of the heart because an external circumcision meant that physically you were of God, but internally, you still served your sinful fleshly nature.
