Jeanette's Autism Show is a place for discussions around all things Autism, from advocacy, to parenting, employment, love and relationships, books and conferences, sensory issues, anxiety, education and everything else in between. The show is hosted by Autistic author, advocate, artist and Government official Jeanette Purkis. As this show is pre-recorded, you cannot access the chat room. If you wish to contact Jeanette with questions or comments, you can email her. An email address and links to her social media pages are included in Jeanette's website: www.jeanettepurkis.com
This week, Jeanette interviews Tim Fischer, former Trade Minister, Australian Ambassador to the Holy See, ex-Deputy PM, Autism parent and author. Tim has written a number of books including his most recent book, the very successful Maestro John Monash: Australia’s Greatest Citizen General
The show focuses on the importance of good communities, both from the perspective of Autism and also more generally. It is a lovely interview which covers a lot of ground.
Here’s a link to Tim’s books on amazon.com - http://www.amazon.com/s/ref=nb_sb_noss?url=search-alias%3Daps&field-keywords=%22Tim+Fischer%22 (please note that only the results for books are Tim’s)
