*Bio Engineered Spirulina*

3 and 4-d printed 'health' foods are on the horizon!  Bio-engineered through 3- and soon 4-d printing, we are experiencing a revolution in the production of almost any item that can be scanned and a 3-d image can be constructed in certain types of bio-resins, gels and plastics. 

The next evolution of this is the production of super-foods through the 3d printing process.  Is this food safe to eat?  What are the implications of eating foods that are printed?  What could the possible health risks be?  Can they even be foreseen?
