Judith Redwing Keyssar, RN: Author and Midwife to the Dying

Judith Redwing Keyssar, RN, Author, is the Director of the Palliative Care Program at Seniors at Home, a division of Jewish Family and Children’s Services of San Francisco.  

As a “midwife to the dying” she draws upon 20+ years of nursing experience in oncology, critical care and hospice.

Her recent book, Last Acts of Kindness; Lessons for the Living from the Bedsides of the Dying, won a 2011 American Journal of Nursing Book of the Year Award.
