Camille Adair, Hospice Nurse, Filmmaker & Visionary

Camille Adair is a registered nurse, filmmaker and entrepreneur.  After the 2008 premier of her documentary film, "Solace: Wisdom of the Dying", Camille completed the Solace Teachings, a documentary series with accompanying training materials focused on end of life, hospice and palliative care. 

The Solace Teachings are an excellent tool for healthcare organizations, community groups and anyone wanting to deepen their understanding of death and dying.

Based on her career in hospice and palliative care, Camille’s passion for creative healthcare solutions led her to create FairCare, a sustainable healthcare model based on the principles of the triple bottom line, where businesses consider their relationship to the planet, people and profit.

Camille joins a growing number of like-hearted colleagues who are committed to positive change and a new healthcare paradigm based in environmental justice, social equity and the impacts of the aging population contrasted by the shrinking healthcare workforce.
