The Queen’s eldest son has been working hard in his role as Prince of Wales for decades. It was a post previously held by his shamed great-uncle, King Edward 8th, who loved a divorced American and sympathized with the Nazis. Edward liked to socialize and was very self-centered, not really establishing any sort of role for what a Prince of Wales had to do, especially for a more modern age.
