Mitch Makowicz is a combat camera veteran. He enlisted and went to basic training Christmas 2010. He became a 25v/ Combat documentation/production specialist. In 2013 he was deployed to Afghanistan for a year with the 5th special forces group. A day in an orphanage brought him a new meaning of how a camera catches innocent children's smiles. It also showed the horror of an Ied cache. He now is writting and directing and owns his own production company. He openly talks about his personal struggle with PTSD
