Ron Simons is the subject of Episode Two. He is an Four(4) time Tony Award-winning producer whose credits include the 2012 revival of Porgy and Bess along with Jitney in 2017. His most recent projects include Broadway's Ain't Too Proud (written by Dominique Morisseau) and Blue (written by Charles Randolph-Wright and directed by Phylicia Rashad with the aim to open this year, post COVID-19 at the historical Apollo Theater).
