                When to butcher your livestock, what size you should butcher your pigs, cattle, lambs, goats, and chickens. Join us as we discuss the most ideal weight and size to butcher your stock and the reasons why. Also we will discuss what time of year is best to butcher and why. Is bigger better when it comes to animals raised for meat or are you being sold a bill of goods.

Second part:
                 Besides canning and preserving what to do with your surplus produce. We will have a brief look some new and old ideas of what to with surplus produced around the homestead. Does the government need to know everything and how they are trying to stop you and others from selling your extra food that you grow and in many cases even the food you grow for yourself.
