Father's Day is quickly approaching! We all know that the make-up of families have changed. Blended families, step families, single parent families and both parents in the household. Single parent families faces the bigger challenges when that other parent is not there to help support, guide, train and rear the child. Single mothers household have become quite common. So of course when Mother's Day rolls around, it's a big celebration, pull out all the stops and let the momma bask in the celebration of being honored. You deserve it! Of course if Mother's Day is to be observed then so be it for Father's Day. Though single mothers take on both roles when the father is absent, does that mean that they should have the right to celebrate Father's Day aswell? I'm sure fathers would agree ABSOLUTELY NOT! We as men don't celebrate Mother's Day. Fathers know that mothers deserved their day without being in competition eventho some fathers may play both mommy and daddy roles. What do you think? Should Single Mother's Celebrate Father's Day? Or should they leave that holiday for the Father's who are actually around and playing an active role in their childs life. I want to hear from my callers! Show starts at 7pm Est. 347-855-8637. All calls are welcomed!
