LIVE with Bill Owen, Wednesdays 5:00 pm PST on SofaSure Podcast Radio & BlogTalkRadio.

Clinical psychologist of over 45 years experience is a kick in the pants, Dr Emmett Velten’s wide-ranging career and amusing wit and wisdom is now teaching self-help methods on How to Be Your Own Therapist, a popular podcast radio show.

SofaSure Podcast Radio and Social Interactive Media with host Bill Owen, call in, phone line are open. Talk with Dr Velten about your problems, and he will quickly formulate ways to help you get more of what you want in life and less of what you don't want. You can get ideas about how to help yourself tackle some of the many problems that life gives you—and all of us—and that we give ourselves.

Much of the theory of REBT was derived from philosophy rather than psychology. Dr. Ellis has read many works of ancient and modern philosophers before devising this framework. REBT is cognitive, emotive, and behavioral, and is not by any means strictly "intellectual."

REBT states that is not an adversity:

(A) that negatively affects the human but the belief (B) of the individual about this adversity, that leads to negative consequences (C).

These are the simple but most important ABCs of the self-help and therapy.
