World Health Day: Be Safe While World Traveling

April 7th is World Health Day. The World Health Organization chooses a topic for World Health Day and 2014 is Vector-borne diseases. Vector-borne disease is an illness caused by an infectious microbe that is transmitted to people by blood-sucking insects and arachnids such as ticks, mites, fleas, and lice. So we are continuing on the theme for World Health Day by advising you on the various vector-borne illnesses and other illnesses you can contract while world traveling.

You are supposed to bring home souvenirs and memories from a vacation not an illness or worse, a life-threatening illness. So listen on April 21 at 12:30pm to learn how to keep safe from catching a disease while world traveling.
