Sermon 30 "Spiritual Not Political"

Christians are not to be entangled with the affairs of this world. We are citizens of heaven and are just passing through whatever nation we find ourselves in.

While we can be aware of political realities, we don' t need to be burdened or inflamed by them. Our leader is Jesus. Our trust is in God. We place no hope in any political party or worldly ideology.

We examine how Jesus responded to two political events in Luke 13, His statements against politics, and the time when some men wanted to seize Him by force and make Him a secular king.
