Christmas is about the birth of Jesus Christ, who is the Son of God, the Word of God, the Logos, Message, Communication of God.

The Word became flesh, turned into a human being, did good deeds, taught and ministered to people, then died on a cross for our sins.

When we receive Jesus as our Lord to obey, love, trust, and imitate, we become children of God, born again into the Heavenly Father's family.

Thus, we must understand that God is NOT totally mysterious, unknowable, murky, alien, or so far beyond us that we can't even glimpse a single thing about Him.

That is an insult to Christ who has declared God to mankind and died for our sins. By studying the Gospels, we learn about the Son of God and therefore God the Father is revealed to us.

The Light that saves us is Jesus Christ, the Communication of God, the perfect and complete embodiment of everything we need to know about God.

Armed with this wonderful knowledge, we can serve and honor God and fulfill His plan for our lives. Praise God. Thank you Jesus.
