Jesus said his flesh was edible and his blood was drinkable. This dramatic figure of speech refers to "Thy words were found and I did eat them" of Jeremiah.

Jesus Christ, the Word of God, the Word become flesh, the True Bread from Heaven, is what our minds should be feasting upon.

You've probably heard the expression "chewing it over in my mind". The Word of God, the Bible, is our spiritual nourishment.

The more we consume God's Word and spend time in prayer, the more we spiritualize our mind.

We are more likely to act upon God's Word, and honor God, when we devote ourselves daily to studying the Bible and having continual conversations with God in our heart.

Too often, we mentally feed upon worldly music, songs going through our head.

Or we re-play scenes from movies and TV shows or we re-imagine experiences we've had, what people have said or done.

Now let's learn how prayer and Bible study helps us to feed upon the Way, the Truth, and the Life, who is Christ Jesus, the Son of God.
