Alan Parsons began his career as assistant engineer at Abbey Road Studios participating in The Beatles' Abbey Road and Let It Be, then rocketed to prominence with his timeless engineering work on Wings' Wild Life, self-titled Hollies, Al Stewart's Year of the Cat, and Pink Floyd's The Dark Side of the Moon, one of the most successful rock albums of all time.

Parsons then leaped over the glass to form The Alan Parsons Project, a multi-platinum selling, progressive rock band featuring Parsons, collaborator Eric Woolfson and a rotating cast of studio musicians.
