“It takes a village to raise a child” is a widely-quoted traditional African proverb that asserts strong community relationships with our youth. This is a paramount concern in urban communities all across America, as our splintered “villages” are no longer bearing accountability to their families.

Single parenting is daunting undertaking that leaves many with the choice between financing basic needs and enriching their children with positive life experiences. They are left to fend for self in a face-paced, social media-fortified world.

We will explore a single city, Rochester, New York, with guest speaker Sirena Cotton, Founder of ROC The Peace (RTP) and Carlos Quinones, recording artist of music conglomerate H.E.X.X. and RTP Volunteer.

Join Storm and Dictator on a journey to find the solutions to our overwhelmed youth and broken villages.
