During 2011, 70 million new blogs were registered on Wordpress alone; as of the end of 2012, Tumblr users had uploaded a staggering 80 billion posts - which works out to about 12 posts for every global internet user.

With so much content, standing out from the crowd can be difficult - particularly if you're writing about HR and recruiting, an industry where success for both personal and professional brands is becoming increasingly interdependent on content marketing.

Join special guest Jessica Miller Merrill (@Blogging4Jobs) on Tuesday, January 15 for a conversation about the ins and outs of blogging for the HR business.  As one of the industry's top bloggers, Miller-Merrill will share her experience, insights and observations about what works, and what doesn't, when creating content.

Some of the topics we'll discuss include building an editorial calendar, generating and nurturing an audience, and how to align content marketing with HR and recruiting goals, both inside and outside the organization.

Q1. What does it take for content marketing to succeed in HR and recruiting?  Different from other industries or topics?

Q2. What are the biggest mistakes or land-mines to avoid when developing HR and recruiting content?

Q3. "I don't know what to write about!"  What's your advice?

Q4. What resources are required for content marketing - and how do you track ROI?

Q5. How does content marketing align with larger HR & recruitment goals?

Q6. What are some of the most effective HR blogs (or bloggers)?  What are they doing right?
