On this episode of Role Call, we learn how a partnership between the Center for Autism and Related Disabilities (CARD) and the city officials led to Tampa's designation as an Autism Friendly City.

Capacity builiding, enhancing opportunities for inclusion and collaborating with families and professionals are the focus of Christine Rover's work at CARD. She joins Chief Dugan to talk about how the organization played a role in developing training for law enforcement and city employees.

Chief Dugan goes on to explain the department's Help Us, Help You special needs registry and its importance in improving interactions between officers and individuals with special needs.
