Celia taught in public schools for 15 years before getting her Ph.D. at the University of Illinois at Chicago. For 10 of those 15 years she worked in inclusive classroom settings. She is currently a Professor of Education at Teachers College, Columbia University. Dr. Oyler is also author of the book, Learning to Teach Inclusively.
