We're gonna dig deep into our Androgenous souls and see if we can tap into a golden vein in the current female music scene. Women are breaking the mold of being strictly solo artists. Currently, there are a lot of bands with females front and center. More than ever before, it would seem. Who were the pioneers? Janis Joplin pops to mind.
No band is more important to female music than The Bangles, of course. "Be With You" changed my life. Ha!
