Obesity is becoming a major health issue in the United States. In 2010 The National Health and Examination Study found that 33.8% of Americans, or 1 in 3 are considered by medical definition obese. It is now the number 2 preventable cause of death under tobacco which it is expected to eclipse in the near future.
There are many causes for obesity, tonight we will have Naturopath Paul Ratte discussing one of the possible causes that people may not be aware of, adrenal fatigue and some of the links associated with it and obesity.
Adrenal fatigue (technically called hypoadrenia) has been a prevalent yet rarely diagnosed modern condition characterized by fatigue, poor concentration, sleep disorder, and weight gain.
Starvation, sacrifice, and suffering are the images associated with weight loss. They reflect the underlying weight loss myth – lose weight to be healthy. But, weight loss is the SIDE EFFECT of being healthy.
We will discuss the connections with weight gain and adrenal fatigue and give our listeners resources to address the issue of adrenal fatigue. Join us to find out more.
