Tonight we'll have some last thoughts before the March 4th event and see the first actions, statements, poems, songs and discussions leading into a national day of social awareness.
We'll also enjoy some on topic open mic and plenty of raw truth. Like this:
"Modern day slavery is alive and well in America." Every day in the US our families, neighbors and friends are all being bought and sold on the global open market.
Men women and children being used in cheap labor camps to produce corporate commercial goods.
A system unaccountable to the public but completely under the control of a sociopath called "the corporation".
This 'thing' we face is a living frankenstein abomination enjoying the rights of human life and free speech with no soul, morals or mercy.
I have to call it like I see it and make no apology. There is no gray area when the issue is slavery.
Ignorance is not bliss.
How often in my long travels have I heard
"I don't watch the news because it's too depressing"
Yes. Legalized slavery, open genocide, unjustified wars, mass starvation, gross poverty, rampant disease and corporate oppression are very depressing.
But just because a person chooses not to see it doesn't make it go away.
A turned cheek endorses what should be seen as domestic treason and war crimes against humanity.

So I suggest to you, tomorrow is a good day to share our voices. Our concerns. Our burdens.

You don't have to believe a word I wrote. Find out the truth for yourself. It's easily available to anyone willing to search. Then after you know, act like you know it.
