Husbands do not always know what is best for their wives and families, but this fact does not lead me to suggest that Christ is sometimes unaware of the needs of the Church. By the same token, the fact that Christ may commit himself unconditionally to the Church should not lead us to infer that human marriages are unconditional. The very fact that conditions are not expressly discussed in the passage is prima facie evidence that God does not intend the reader of the Ephesian letter to draw implications about such conditions from it.

Let look at something that most get wrong about marrying so let get this understanding clear right here. Everyone that don't know Christ is the only Savior of the “body,” this is not true of the husband’s relationship to the wife or of her relationship to her husband; the husband is not the savior of the wife. The husband is the “head,” but not the savior. Join in today for the lesson topic: "Conditional or Unconditional Commitment?"  also visit us at www.uptopministries.org
