Dr. Sarah Hurd

Sarah Hurd is an ordained minister and has served on various ministry boards, leadership teams and

community projects.

Ms. Hurd received her Bachelor of Arts Degree in Biblical Education from Beulah Heights University in 

Atlanta, GA, a Master and Doctorate of Theology from North Carolina College of Theology in Wilmington, NC.

Minister Hurd holds a Standard Teaching Diploma from Evangelical Training Association Wheaton, IL and an

Educator’s certificate as a Bible Specialist from Association of Christian Schools International Colorado 

Springs, Colorado. Dr. Hurd has taught many CEU Bible courses and is the founder and CEO of Birthing 

Vision Ministries, Inc. Sarah is a certified Life Growth Coach through Dream Releaser Coaching since 2011. 

Ms. Hurd is a published author of Time in the Word Study Guide. She is the President of Birthing Vision Bible

Institute a satellite campus of North Carolina Theological Seminary with campuses in Decatur and Covington, GA.

Sarah Hurd was married to the late Bobby Hurd for 47 years and they have 3 daughters, two sons-in-law and five grandchildren. She's  a member of the dynamic Refreshing Place Ministries, Inc under the leadership of Pastor Reaman Price, Jr. and Lady Felisha Price her son and daughter, Dr. Hurd serves as a member of the Board of Directors and Ministerial Staff.

August 4, 2013, Dr. Hurd began to host A Time in the Word with Sarah Hurd, Sunday mornings at 6am on WATC. She hosted radio ministry on WYZE Atlanta and WVJH Pensacola, FL. In summary of her life’s quest “I love people and my greatest joy comes when I serve others.
