The downtown area of Mayfield is the hardest hit. What was once a quaint small town center now looks like a war zone, with leveled landmarks and businesses.

One local family restaurant has been in business for 40 years - now, it’s in ruins.

"Every memory that you think you have I didn’t even recognize buildings. I didn’t recognize what things were and then has a came down and saw our restaurant they’ve owned it since I was 3 so. For 40 years they’ve had this building and I have so many memories," said Michelle Kraeutzer.
