The Lead in To Revolution April 19, 1775-April 19th, 2015

The American Revolutionary War did not start off out of the blue. It had been percolating for over 40 years, and can trace back it's roots almost 100 years. It began with the people's belief that they had the ability to govern them selves, and the governments belief that the people were there to submit to governmental rule.

We find ourselves more and more today, in the same dilema. The government feels it should be asked for permission, by the people, for every single thing they do. That there is no facet of American life that should not be controlled by the government. Government has grown soi arge that it over shadows everything we do every single day. Permits, licenses, fees, taxes, tens of thousands of laws on every imaginable issue.

Tonight we are going to talk about how the events of April 19th began starting just a year before. And see if you think that we are in a similar position today.
