Aaron Mallary is honored to serve as the National Program Director of The Soldiers Project. Aaron enlisted in the US Navy in 1993 and served 14 years as a Combat Aircrew Flight Engineer on-board P-3C and C-130 aircraft. Aaron left active duty in 2007 and commissioned as a Field Artillery Officer in the California Army National Guard. Aaron deployed a total of nine times in his career and was awarded the Navy Commendation Medal with Combat V, and the Air Medal for his actions during combat operations in Iraq and Afghanistan. While on active duty, Aaron completed his BS in Management from American Military University and is currently completing his Masters degree in Psychology, Marriage and Family Therapy, at Brandman University. Aaron comes to us by way of Volunteers of Americas Supportive Services for Veteran Families (SSVF) program where he served as the Veteran Outreach Manager.
