"Cinema in Noir" is a weekly radio show for which all things film related are discussed from a black female perspective. Hosted by Candice Frederick, Kimberly Renee, and ReBecca Theodore-Vachon, "Cinema in Noir" covers the latest casting news, reviews, and interviews with the best and brightest talent in film. On this edition we discuss John Singleton's op-ed on whether or not a white directon can make a great black film. We will also discuss an article in THR that laments the death of the rom-com. Also, as the season 3 opener of Scandal approaches, we will briefly chat about what we most want to see from the upcoming season. Lastly we will recap the ALMA awards and discuss the lack of Hiispanic american films versus Spanish language films.
