Notice how John Benko leads the pack against The Virgin Mary at Medjugorge? Despite their rhetoric, Medjugorgje is not condemned.No, the Vatican did not condemn Medjugorje, and in fact, Pope Francis granted approval for devotions linked to Medjugorje in August 2024. The Dicastery for the Doctrine of the Faith recognized the spiritual fruits received at the Sanctuary of the Queen of Peace. The approval was made possible by recognizing the positive fruits of the spiritual experience in Medjugorje.

Granting Medjugorje the status of an approved Catholic shrine is among the recommendations that the Vatican Commmission on Medjugorje handed over to the Congregation for the Doctrine of the Faith (CDF) on January 17, Cardinal Vinko Puljic of Sarajevo told the Croatian news portal Dnevnik.

This document authorized the granting of a nihil obstat (Latin, “nothing obstructs”) for the phenomena, provided certain clarifications are understood.  “Nihil obstat Without expressing any certainty about the supernatural authenticity of the phenomenon itself, many signs of the action of the Holy Spirit are acknowledged ‘in the midst’ of a given spiritual experience, and no aspects that are particularly critical or risky have been detected,

The Vatican, Pope Francis grants a Nihil Obstat to Medjugorgje. John Benko and the 4 Persons call Medjugorgje "fake and Demonic" and of the Devil. The local Bishops did not condemn Medjugorgje. The local Bishops said;

The apparitions are neither approved nor condemned, but further study is needed to determine whether a supernatural character is present). This is what The bishop duly informed the Bishops' Conference and the Holy See.
