On this edition of Each One, Reach One we profile Skinner Louis. Louis is a dynamic young attorney of Haitian descent on a mission to fight social injustices in the business law field affecting the minority community. Louis is the founder and managing partner of The Louis Firm located in Orlando, Florida. He volunteers his time as a Vice Chair of the Young Lawyers Section Mentoring Committee on the Orange County Bar Association and also serves as a member of the FAMU Board of Visitors Mentoring Committee. Louis also serves as a mentor to countless young individuals in the Central Florida region and Palm Beach County. While attending FAMU College of Law, he served as a Certified Legal Intern in the Guardian Ad Litem program representing the best interest of children in dependancy cases, education planning, and job placement. Additonally while at FAMU he was an income tax preparer in the Volunteer Income Tax Assistance program where he assisted low income families file tax returns and assisted with simple tax questions. Louis also volunteers to teach students preparing for the Florida Bar examination through the BEST program at his alma mater's, Florida A&M University, College of Law.
