Thomas Massie, U.S. Representative from Kentucky, is sponsoring H.R. 8421, “To abolish the Board of Governors of the Federal Reserve System and the Federal reserve banks, to repeal the Federal Reserve Act, and for other purposes.” The bill was cosponsored by 20 other U.S. Representatives and is a reintroduction of a bill first introduced by Ron Paul in 1999.

Representative Massie also reintroduced H.R. 24 to audit the Fed, a bill first introduced by Ron Paul in 2009.
