Rik Schnabel has seen great success in his life. Through his success he has also seen friends fall away, sadly one of the challenges of climbing the ladder and reaching higher places to occupy. Kate Elliot, is a founder of Kate & Kim, an organisation dedicated to helping women find, meet and make new friends. After graduating with a degree in Psychology, Kate lived in Canada and Poland for a number of years. During her travels, she experienced first-hand the loneliness that comes with being new to an environment or following a major life-stage shift. After breaking up with a best-friend, she knew she had to solve the need to bring women together for the purpose of establishing new friendships. Kate is passionate about the subject of female friendships and particularly interested in dispelling the myth that women easily and effortlessly form large, strong social circles. In addition to Kate & Kim, Kate recently launched Faces of Friendship, a blog dedicated to creating conversation and transparency around female friendships, a place for women to share their thoughts, feelings and lessons from their own experiences. Join us as we travel through these real spaces of life that people find themselves in.
