Tom Steward, Minnesota bureau chief of Watchdog.org, joins Bill & John at the top of the hour to discuss the recent decision by the Frozen River Film Festival of Winona to censor a movie, FrackNation, because organizers disagreed with its content. The festival receives tax payer dollars and the story quickly went nationwide. John wrote the Executive Director of the MN State Arts Board for reaction. His letter can be read here: http://tinyurl.com/n5e8eqz

After their intreview with Tom, Bill & John talk about the Star Tribune's decision to strip Katherine Kersten & Jason Lewis of their regular opinion columns and replace them with an editorial board member, DJ Trice. Discussion of copper mining on Minnesota's Iron Range and Congressman Rick Nolan's questionable campaign finance arrangments rounds out the show.
