Dorothy Erlanger inspires others to take charge of their health and life decisions. Whether overcoming a birth defect as a child, launching a successful international business at 30 or beating ovarian cancer at 50, Dorothy is a master at getting through, around and beyond challenges. She loves to share tips, stories, ideas and enthusiasm with others to get them started on their own next steps.

Through speaking, consulting and training, Dorothy shares her thought leadership and expertise on becoming a proactive patient and on fitness/health after fifty—whatever your starting point. Her keynotes include "The Next Hundred Yards," "From Crash to Championship," "Patient as Partner," and "The Proactive Pathway."

2011 is defined by three numbers for Dorothy: 60, 10 and 3. 60? She turned sixty years old in March. 10? She is a ten-year survivor of advanced ovarian cancer. 3? She will compete in an awesome trifecta of triathlons including an Ironman and two world championships to raise money to increase awareness and research on ovarian cancer.

Dorothy is the author of A Toolbox for Elder Care Advocates and the upcoming book, Lifeathlon; What Happens When You Stop Swimming in Circles.

The website for the trifecta is http://www.triathlontrifecta.org Dorothy can be reached at 804-749-4100 or by email at http://derlanger@erlanger-inc.com
