Scott Sunderland found himself paralyzed, unable to move, lying in a hospital bed.  It would take a year for his body to heal and for him to begin to live life again. But, even after being paralyzed, he was not fully stepping into who he was meant to be.  Several years later, he would watch his best friend drown as the sand gave way beneath them.  Scott had to decide how he was going to live his life.  Would it be one centered around blame and guilt? Or, could he find the ugly of his situations and from his worse moments find his greatest gifts?
