Do We Need Healing Circles? Featuring Yarelix Estrada/Heart Attack Prevention

Yarelix Estrada is a first-generation Latina, drug policy and harm reduction researcher, community outreach liaison for overdose prevention in low income communities of color, and psychedelic community organizer. In New York City, Yarelix is an organizer with the New York City Psychedelic Society where she works to help build a connection of psychedelic New Yorkers that is grounded in inclusivity, evidenced-based research, and community. She has organized events that are for people of color only to provide a safe space for conversations specific to that community. A series of those events are the psychedelic healing circles for people of color, where people of color can convene in a safe space and share, process, and integrate their psychedelic experiences with one another.

The following guests will be Sister Mryyh and friends. She will be giving us an overview and acknowledgement of the Ankhgiving Festival that recently occured. Ankhgiving celebration happens every Friday after Thanksgiving/Turkey Holocaust Day.
