Jan Garwood is in a locked facility under a fraudulent guardianship in Longwood, Seminole Florida, and is now represented by attorney, Leslie Ferderigos.

Garwood, who was the owner of a large estate, was forcibly abducted under a fraudulent 2019 Baker Act petition. The Baker Act, allows for total strangers (in this case a predator guardian) to claim the targeted victim is mentally unstable for various reasons. Once captured under this court action, Garwood was forced into a memory care unit and locked down. No visitors. Not allowed outside of the facility.

Initially guardianzed May 31, 2017 by the infamous Rebecca Fierle, a notorious predator guardian, Fierle's protoge' Denise Willis has assumed the guardianship and intitiated the Baker Act action in January 2019 when Jan started asking questions. Until then she had been “allowed” to stay in her own home. The intitiation of the Baker Act against Jan was to shut her up.

In April 2019, they seized Jan's car. In the interim, family heirlooms, antiques, jewelry and other valuable personal items just simply disappeared.

Jan has only seen her new owner once. She has never seen a doctor or dentist since being captured until she obtained legal representation. She has never been diagnosed with memory issues and is quite lucid and articulate.
