It's Submarine Day! It was on this day, April 17, that the U.S. Submarine fleet was established in 1900. Last year we honored the USS Grunion and the heroes who served on her during World War II. Please check out the podcast from 9/8/2009.
Today, we are honored to be speaking with one of our American Heroes, a man who served on the USS Gato, retired Commander Charlie Tate, U.S. Navy.
Commander Tate has a different theory on the fate of the USS Grunion as well as other tales of the sea, one that includes an encounter with an enemy depth charge that appeared on his boat, while surfacing!
The Green Revolution Show seeks out inspiring leaders on the Leadership Segment, and is honored to welcome, Commander Charlie Tate!
