CW Seymore -- Shards of Glass, childhood abuse and the healing journey

Come listen to author, CW Seymore, speak on my show.  She writes:

(in reference of one of the graphics provided) "The above caption was my constant prayer.  This photo was graciously authorized for the inclusion in the book by D. Sharon Pruitt.  This picture most accurately depicts the horror I often felt as a child.  The prayer above was my cry in desperation for "Help" & "Rescue" that never came from my father in the countless horrifying events that occurred throughout my childhood.  Through tears; in pain; experiencing shock or fearing for my life this prayer was uttered in earnest; rocking back and forth hiding in one of my many "Safe Places" usually outside in the forest or in the cornfield, under my bed, in a closet and behind the couch where I was terrified, alone, helpless and so very afraid.  This journey has been tremendously difficult!  Recalling the past and reliving the intense fear and pain associated with each memory was emotionally draining awakening my many "triggers" and sending them into overdrive causing severe panic attacks, anger and intense anxiety.  This book is healing for me ending the silence and one step closer to my Higher, Calling the Lord has planned for my life.  My greates of all hope, is that these stories and vivid accounts will help other survivors fine hope, healing and comfort in knowing that they are not alone."  For more information about CW Seymore, see http://shardsofglasscwseymore.com.
