There is a movement going on in the world that until recently was not particularly well known by mainstream society. Last year, we interviewed Stephen Jenkinson from Orphan Wisdom on our show. His work in teaching people to live and die well has struck a chord for many people. Death Cafes are cropping up in cities all over the world and people want to know how to live, die, and grieve well.
In a death-phobic society, this show continues the conversation and brings to light the different ways in which we can open ourselves to new perceptions about death and dying, as well as how well we actually live out our lives.
Jennifer Engracio, your host for Going Shamanic, takes us on a beautiful journey with Wanda Buchleitner-Garstad, of Walking Soul Wisdom. Wanda's passion as a Deathwalker/Psychopomp and Death midwife is to help people find their own personal relationship with what death looks like, guide and support the process to settle the fear of the unknown. Wanda supplies the awareness, tools and ceremonies to discover a healthy, earth based way of honouring ourselves and our loved ones as we step into the Mystery.
GOING SHAMANIC: Instead of relegating the spiritual aspect of ourselves to Sundays at church or weekend workshops, this show supports listeners in weaving ritual, prayer, magic, and alignment with the Spiritworld and the Earth into their lives to enrich their experience of living.
