According to the word of God we read how some of God's prophets were mistreated and even killed for not compromising. Some kings expected the true prophet to prophecy according to their desire and want. But that was and is not so. Today's true prophets will not put icing on their message, especially if the message is advising the person to repent of his/her sins.
