NO MOTHER CAN PARENT IN A VACCUM.

After 5 years in the Movement, activist and advocate Valerie K. Lazarus finally confronts an inevitable situation where her only child, now a senior in high school, is pregnant by the father... did the setup begin when Dad abducted his 11-year-old daughter from her 6th grade study hall as part of a ruse set up by his lawyers? Did it begin much earlier, when the little girl was molested on parent time? Or did it begin long before that, when Dad's parents initially took the child to live with them on false pretenses?

IT TAKES THE ENCOURAGEMENT OF AN ENTIRE COMMUNITY to raise a child to healthy adulthood, but what VKL consistently found was everyone from inlaws filling her child's ears with negative messages about Mom to married mothers at her daughter's school and in her church community excluding her daughter from activities, continuously dragging her down while she's trying to become financially solvent all by herself. Before anyone had even set foot in a courtroom, the stage had already been set for sabotage and failure. Having Dad's incest babies is not a healthy outcome for a child who is physically a woman at 17.
