Dr. Childress is a licensed clinical psychologist specializing in the treatment of ADHD, angry-oppositional relationship disorders of childhood, and parental alienation processes.  He has a secondary specialty background in early childhood mental health and the neuro-development of brain systems during childhood.  Prior to entering private practice, Dr. Childress served as the Clinical Director for a children’s assessment and treatment center and as the lead clinical psychologist on a university-based project for the identification of ADHD in preschool-age children.  Dr. Childress has taught graduate level courses in Diagnosis and Psychopathology and Child and Adolescent Psychotherapy and he is currently an expert consultant for ehow.com regarding ADHD and parenting issues.  Dr. Childress maintains a private practice in Pasadena, California.
