The Difference Connections Make - Ruben Orellana Neira (rpt)

Due to popular demand, we will be playing a repeat of Katherine Bright's interview with Ruben Orellana Neira, the head archaeologist of Macchu Pichu in Peru. Ruben was broadcasting live from Machu Picchu on the winter solstice. As this is recorded, no calls are able to be taken during the show and the blog will not be in operation.

Ruben and Katherine Bright became friends in March 2009 at the Sacred Valley in Peru. Ruben is a qualified Archaeologist, gaining his degree in Cusco, Peru.  He was named Head Archaeologist of both Saqsaywaman and Machu Picchu where he discovered 44 new sites surrounding the Crystal City and the North Inca Trail. He is the founding director of Kamaquen Healing Centre (Hosteria Illarimuy) in Urubamba, in the heart of the Sacred Valley of the Incas. He has been a Shaman since the age of nine, studying also and working with indigenous medicines for over 30 years.
