The Knee Jerks, Greg Eno and Big Al Beaton, welcome Adam Biggers of SpartyOn.com, to talk MSU basketball and tell us how this season started with Tom Izzo's team expected to compete for the NCAA Championship, only to turn into a very tumultuous and perhaps disappointing season for the Spartan faithful.

The Knee Jerks will then move on the latest in Detroit sports, including Lions' announcing Matthew Stafford's surgery, the Tigers finally announcing they will retire Sparky Anderson's number (after his death a few months ago), the Red Wings signing, then losing, free agent goalie Evgeni Nabokov, who won't report to the team that claimed him, the Islanders, and the continuing Rip Hamilton drama with the Pistons.

As always, at the end of the podcast we'll also name our respective Jerk of the Week! (Expect a rant or two!)
