Women have the right to vote in this country, heck, we had a woman running for President and Vice President in 2008 so we have come a long way “baby”. HOWEVER, have you noticed our representation and our rights in the movie industry is in the dark ages. The Awards Season and all it’s glamour and spectacle is upon us. So what is the deal with Hollywood and sexism? When was the last time a woman won Best Director? How often do you see a woman over 50 take home the best actress prize? Any possibilities of seeing change for women at this years Oscars?
