While carefully planning her suicide, LuAn sat next to the deep and swiftly moving river that sat adjacent to an old and falling down mansion. The mansion called her name and made a deal to stop her from ending her life.
 
LuAn listened and made a pact with the unusual ancient home.  Eventually, she went from being a poor pregnant teen, to a young widow with children, to a thriving multimillionaire....all by the age of forty.

Years after her pact and mourning the loss of her beloved husband; she had to make a very difficult decision that would ultimately change her life forever. Remembering her promise and the guidance.. her strength returned and she orchestrated a strategic partnership that facilitated a $45 million expansion with Mitchell’s Gourmet Foods. With that, came the creation of hundreds of new jobs as well. LuAn later sold her shares in the company that still has people shaking their heads, wondering how she pulled it off!
