Singleness has advantages: Single people are spared the "troubles" of marriage.  There are great blessings in marriage, but there are difficulities too.  Christians couples don't often talk openly about the hard things they face, which gives singles a rose-tinted view of marriage.  Life is more complicated.  More than one person to consider in decisions about use of time, accomodation, holidays, even the daily schedule.  Paul Mentions in Corn. 7:28

Single person can devote themselves more fully to God's work.  "An unmarried man is concerned aboutthe Lord's affairs- How he can please the Lord.  But a married man is concerned about the affairs of this world- how he can please his wife and his interest is divided" (I Corn 7: 32-34) A Vital part of Christian responsibility of married persons is to care for their spouse and children. Single people have more time to give, most single people have not chosen singleness yet they have the same advantages as those who have.
